1. Introduction
Welcome to Remraf Pet Services. By booking any of our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
These terms ensure the safety and well-being of your pet(s) while using our services.
2. Services Provided
Remraf Pet Services offers:
- Dog walking (solo, single household)
- In-home pet sitting
- Puppy and cat visits
- Overnight stays
3. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure your pet is fit, healthy, and up to date with vaccinations, flea, and worm treatments.
- Inform us of any behavioural issues, medical conditions, or special requirements.
- Provide all necessary pet supplies (food, medications, lead, harness, litter, etc.).
- Ensure home access is arranged (keys, lock codes, or alternative access).
- Accept responsibility for any damage caused by your pet to property, people, or other animals.
4. Bookings & Cancellations
4.1 Booking Process
- All bookings must be made in advance and confirmed by Remraf Pet Services.
- Regular bookings (e.g., weekly dog walks) may be reserved for ongoing clients.
- Last-minute bookings are subject to availability.
4.2 Cancellations & Refunds
- All cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled service are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- If we need to cancel a service due to an emergency on our end, we will provide a full refund or reschedule where possible.
4.3 Rescheduling
- Bookings may be rescheduled if at least 48 hours' notice is provided before the scheduled start time.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
- If a suitable alternative time cannot be arranged, the original booking terms, including the cancellation policy, will apply.
5. Payments
- Payment must be made in advance or on the day of service unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, PayPal, cash.
- Late payments may incur a £5 per day late fee.
6. Key Handling & Home Security
- Keys can be retained by Remraf Pet Services for ongoing clients or returned after each visit.
- We take all reasonable measures to secure your home and will not share keys or access codes with third parties.
- We are not responsible for any break-ins or damages unrelated to our services.
7. Liability & Insurance
- We hold public liability insurance, but pet owners remain responsible for their pet’s behaviour.
- We are not liable for injury, illness, or loss of pets due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., sudden illness, accidents).
- If veterinary attention is needed, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. If unavailable, we will take the pet to your registered vet or the nearest available vet. Any veterinary costs are the owner’s responsibility.
8. Owner Responsibility for Damage
- If your pet damages any property belonging to Remraf Pet Services (e.g., leads, harnesses, crates, beds, or other equipment), you are responsible for replacing or reimbursing us for the cost of the damaged item.
- If your pet causes damage to third-party property or injures another animal/person while in our care, you are responsible for any associated costs.
9. Aggressive or Unmanageable Pets
- We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet displays aggressive or dangerous behaviour.
- If a pet becomes unmanageable during a service, we will contact the owner to discuss alternative arrangements.
10. Extreme Weather & Emergency Situations
- In extreme weather conditions (e.g., storms, heatwaves, snow), dog walks may be modified for safety (shortened or replaced with enrichment activities).
- In case of emergencies, we will contact you or your emergency contact.
11. Photography & Marketing
- We may take photos of your pet during services for marketing purposes (e.g., social media).
- If you do not wish for your pet’s photos to be used, please inform us in writing.
12. Agreement & Amendments
- By booking a service with Remraf Pet Services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
- Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
